Virtual Worlds Company is an immersive studio in Cape Town, South Africa, building original worlds and the live experiences that happen inside them. Founded by worldbuilder and director Rick Treweek (MetaRick_), the studio created and owns the Uncanny Alley universe — winner of the Spirit of Raindance, 2022 — and, with Ferryman Collective, co-produced the live VR show Uncanny Alley: A New Day, nominated for a 2026 Emmy® Award for Outstanding Emerging Media Program.
